Chef de Partie Required ASAP for Pre-Opening Team
Our client is looking for an upbeat, foodie Chef de Partie to work at this newly opened restaurant & cocktail bar in Woodford with an immediate start.
The Brigade is relatively small with a Head Chef, Sous Chef, Commis and KP support so we need a good all rounder to help make this great restaurant exceptional. You will be required to handle all sections of the kitchen and multi task effectively.
Ideally the Chef de Partie will live locally to the area (including surrounding areas to Woodford) but it is based on the Central line with good transport links to central London.
The owner is looking for a chef with previous CDP experience and someone who is passionate and looking to grow within the kitchen. Pastry experience will be advantageous.
Regular duties include;
- Preparing mis en place for service
- Working on all sections of the kitchen
- Cooking fresh quality food in a busy environment
- Reporting to the sous chef throughout service
- Being organised and clean working
- Monitoring and maintaining safe food hygiene practices
There will be meals on duty provided. Additional to your salary you will receive a percentage of the restaurant's service charge.
The restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday so these will probably be your regular days off.
For the Chef de Partie role, expected hours of work are 50 hours per week.
