This is a traditional conference production role with a few twists:
* This role is home based and offers possibilities for flexi-working. During the probation period (and beyond at our discretion) the successful candidate should be prepared to spend one day per week working alongside the Head of Content in St Albans.
* Production deadlines are more fluid than in other conference companies. While we expect events to be delivered in a timely fashion, quality of research and speakers is more important to us than self-imposed stop dates. This makes for a much more dynamic and less stressful production cycle!
* Linked to the point above, our focus on strong validation and quality means we have never produced an event that was not a critical success. Occasionally a launch event may not deliver financial success in its first year but we invest in these to maximise their potential for the future (e.g. a launch event last year was slightly too early to market for the topic and just broke even. This year the timing was spot on and with our track record to support us it became a 6 figure spex event and a sell out). We do not operate the 'allowed failure margin' many other conference companies have whereby a volume approach to events is taken and a certain number are expected to under perform (which is seen as an acceptable risk).
* This role will be a mix (approx. 50:50) of helping our Head of Content deliver programmes that have already been researched and written (e.g. speaker acquisition, webinar interviews, pre-event conference calls) and traditional production.

* Have a proven ability to form relationships with C-level individuals and the right approach to successfully reach them on the phone
* Have strong attention to detail and adherence with processes and systems

* Be able to self motivate
