We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our Engineering team based at our Doncaster office.

As Project Engineer, your role will involve working on maintenance and refurbishment projects of track and rolling stock components, ensuring products meet specification, produce drawings, calculations and technical reports including performance and failure investigation. In addition you will support the development of a wide range of components for national and overseas markets.


* Educated to level 4 qualification or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
* Projects/Design experience within an engineering environment, (mechanical or electrical)
* Proven background in product design and development
* Experienced in the use of CAD systems (2D & 3D)
* Effective time management / project management ability
* Knowledge and practical use of engineering standards
* Excellent technical and analytical skills
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team


* Experience of working internationally
* Knowledge of product manufacturing and production techniques
* Autodesk inventor suite experience including FEA
* Foreign language skills
* PLC / Controls / Electronics knowledge
* Railway Engineering Experience
