We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Engineer to join our Engineering team based at our Doncaster office.

Working as part of the Design and Development team within the Engineering Department, the Junior Engineer will be focused on projects within the Track and Rolling stock sector which will include; product and specification development, reverse engineering, detail drawing, management of project lifecycle and producing solutions which meet client requirements.


* Experience of project life cycle: definition, concept, detail, prototyping, testing
* Experience of CAD solid modelling
* Ability to work on multiple projects running simultaneously
* Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
* Able in work well both individually and as part of a team
* Qualified to HNC (or equivalent) in a Engineering discipline
* Computer literate (Word, Excel)


* Rail Industry experience
* Experience of rapid prototyping techniques
* Experience using AutoCAD Inventor and Vault PDM system
* Experience in the application of lean techniques e.g. Six Sigma analysis
* Apprentice trained
* Experience of fabrication and manufacturing
* Understanding of material performance and selection
* Experience of applying problem solving techniques
