An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Group Reservations Manager to the join the team at 4 Star Hotel In Kensington
As Group reservations Manager, you are responsible for achieving occupancy targets/levels as identified in the marketing plan for reservations. The reservations manager will work with the sales team and the marketing team to develop future and repeat business opportunities. You will also act as the personal assistant to the Director whom you will closely work together with to achieve the desired results for the company as a whole. Specifically you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standard:
· Maximise occupancy levels by reviewing and revising revenue strategies.· Work with the sales team to maximise corporate and group rates.· Manage both company and third party sites and agents to establish rates, negotiate prices, ensure proper implementation of reservation procedures and maximise conversion ratios in order to achieve targets for the department.· Be the first point of contact in the company and direct calls as needed.· Understand the competitive market place and implement approaches to ensure that the company stays ahead in the industry.· Ensure team members are developed effectively and generate a culture of high quality standards for relationship building, customer service, guests and team members in order to gain full understanding of their needs and work to serve them effectively.· Assist in the recruiting, managing, training and developing of the team.· Responsible for the management of the maintenance and the cleaning team.· Generate strategies to keep track of customers, reviews and their geographical locations.· Responding to guests enquiries via email and phone.
