Software Control Systems Engineer

based in Warrington

Salary 35k-45k

Our client is an engineering company that specialises in industrial control systems. Our client has several regional offices employing in total around 100 people. Their regional offices ensure that we are close to our customers in order to deliver them great service.

Main Responsibilities of a Software Control Systems Engineer:
• Enjoy the whole life cycle of delivering projects, from start to finish.
• Interface with customers and suppliers.
• Produce the design documents.
• Compile the PLC, HMI and SCADA software.
• Perform testing with customers.
• Carryout on-site commissioning.

Desired Skills and Experience:
• Intermediate level of experience with Rockwell, Siemens, or Wonderware (InTouch and/or System Platform), based SCADA platforms, and HMIs, with an appetite to learn new technologies.
• High level of experience with Mitsubishi, Siemens and/or Rockwell PLC platforms, with an appetite to learn new technologies.
• 5+ years’ experience of writing software, and working with customers.
• Highly motivated, organised and flexible.
• Positive, personable and happy team player.
