My Client, a large multi national organisation is looking for a Software Engineer who will be responsible for designing the Integration & Behavioural Modelling/Simulation Framework in collaboration with 3rd parties.

The Role:
Establish the Software elements of the Integration & Behavioural Modelling/Simulation Framework that enables architectural validation, interface standards development &verification/ assurance and an environment for integration of solution building blocks both real and simulated:
*Development and documentation of software designs using UML modelling tool
*Development, documentation, verification and support of SDKs for use by 3rd parties
*Development, documentation, verification and support of integration harness and stubs for use by 3rd parties.
*Development, documentation, verification and support of simulation tools through a combination of simulated system elements and hardware in the loop as required.
*Work with external and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements
*Undertake analysis of design changes to confirm feasibility and impacts on the system to inform implementation decisions.

What you will need:
*Breadth of experience in a role that demonstrates technical experience and application of software engineering skills with a track record of delivery.
*Experienced in agile software/product development methods and best practice.
*Demonstrates understanding of the software engineering lifecycle and phases, and challenges associated with engineering in a delivery focussed, commercially successful organisation.
*Experienced in engineering methods and tools for elaborating architectures and software requirements.
*Experienced in engineering methods and tools for system modelling (SysML)
*A belief in and understanding of the benefits of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
*Experience of systems & network dynamic modelling tools that can be validated against real world behaviour.
