Full time: 37 hours per week, all year round, 8.00 am to 4.15 pm (¾ hour lunch) - 4 days per week, 8.00 am to 3.45 pm (¾ hour lunch) - 1 day per week (flexibility in working hours will be required on occasion to support projects and the needs of the Trust)

Castle Phoenix Trust is seeking to appoint an estates and facilities manager to share our vision and values and to contribute to the strategic and operational planning at the schools within the Trust, which currently includes Caludon Castle, Hill Farm Primary School and Kingsbury School

This is an exciting opportunity to make this job 'your own’ and ensure the Trust develops and improves the provision, resources and premises for all our children whilst continuing to ensure that services to our children remain consistent, high quality and compliant. This role will provide strength in depth to our facilities team already supported by a PFI facilities management team at Caludon Castle, the Trust Director of Finances and dedicated site services personnel at Hill Farm and Kingsbury.

Ideally you will have experience of site management in an educational and/or a multi site environment, but more importantly you will have the health and safety knowledge and awareness, business acumen, flexibility and determination to make a real difference to our Trust. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of specialists in a professional environment and you will need to be able to capitalise on your well honed communication and team leading skills and collaborative approach.

Your remit will include spending time working at the schools within the Trust, managing premises maintenance and development, ensuring health and safety and security, as well as overseeing cleaning and catering, in line with best practice and the highest standards possible. As we secure the need and funding for substantial premises and building improvements, you will project manage this work and we will look to you to identify opportunities to secure funding for other initiatives going forward. Ideally you will hold a recognised health and safety qualification and you must have a current driving licence and the use of a vehicle.
