If yes, we have the perfect role for you! We are recruiting a Project Worker on behalf of a well-established client in London.

Some of the role of the Project Worker will involve:
• To promote and encourage client participation in the Intensive Housing Management process and to act as advocate for clients when necessary
• To be responsible for the day to day running of the project in the absence of the manager or deputy, ensuring all Health and Safety requirements are met
• To be involved in the assessment & selection of clients for vacancies
• To carry a case load in respect of the Intensive Housing Management work.
• Working within an assessment process, gathering information, identifying risk, sign posting support needs, working with clients in their own homes to enable them to develop the skills necessary to prevent tenancy/ License breakdown.
• To identify support needs & be acting upon insuring that the needs & requirements of clients are met at all times, working in partnership to empower them, treating them with dignity and respect and liaising with all relevant groups and individuals outside the project
• To be responsive to repair, maintenance & health & safety issues with regards to any property or tenancy within the scheme.
• To work alongside project management in carrying out disciplinary procedures where necessary
• To collect and record residents’ charges as appropriate
• To maintain accurate and timely records as required.

The Ideal Candidate required to demonstrate:
• Experience of working in a housing or Experience of risk assessment.
• Working as part of a team. Working knowledge of relevant legislation.
• Experience of work with vulnerable Experience of lone working individuals
• Understanding of the issues facing Familiarity with IT applications and basic homeless people especially those who are keyboard skills marginalised.
• Experience in working in partnership with Experience & knowledge of the benefit system other agencies to achieve effective outcomes
