BMR Solutions are currently recruiting for a Graduate Project Engineer to work for our client who are an engineering company located in Bristol.

Salary: £23,000 - £28,000 + Bonus
Location: Bristol (East)

Working Hours: 08:00 – 17:00 Mon to Thurs // 08:00 – 16:30 Friday
Our client specialises in the manufacture of hi-tech industrial machines. They supply to a wide range of industries in particular manufacturers of automotive and aeronautical components. Their products are manufactured at their site in Bristol and are distributed worldwide, with main markets being the UK, Europe, USA and Mexico. Our client is a part of a global group with 31 worldwide locations, employing 1200 people throughout the organisation.
We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and well organised graduate project engineer to join our team who is looking to progress within an exciting and fast moving industry. The successful candidate will work with the projects team who are responsible for project and application engineering to satisfy stakeholders to include customers and suppliers. This person will also assist the team in providing technical solutions to new products and techniques either in full or part.
General Requirements of Role:
·Liaising with stakeholders - customer, suppliers and staff.
·Assist with reviewing customer requirements and standards and ensuring these are met or negotiated and prepare and attend customer meetings.
·Assist with quality expectations and issues.
·Working to budgets and creating and reporting on project timings.
·Working to company processes and assisting with the creation of new processes to provide efficient and effective practices.
·Assist in the creation and evaluation of test procedures and Identify failure modes and assist in providing solutions.
·Machine safety reviews and solutions.
·Assist with analysis of data to solve problems and providing common sense and fit for purpose solutions.
·Source and qualify new suppliers.
·Assisting other departments in project engineering e.g. sales.
·Occasional travel to customer and other group sites.
·A sound understanding of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes and a good appreciation of electrical engineering principles.
·A good communicator with the ability to be able to deal with varying stakeholders including customers, suppliers and staff in a professional manner.
·Someone with a good work ethic who wants to learn and develop.
·Fully proficient in Microsoft Office products.
·Degree / HND or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
