Data Scientist – Norwich, Norfolk, £30-40K plus package
This role is working for a Growing Software House involved with cuting edge technologies.
This is an opportunity to work on a massive web behavioral data with leading brands across numerous industry sectors, the ideal candidate will be working with small quantities of labelled data and vast quantities of unlabelled data. You must have had relevant experience with clustering, feature reduction and classifications methods, unsupervised learning techniques and have implemented a recommendation system in the past.
A PhD background is expected and would stand out if your research or recent experience heavily involved machine learning.
Experience with unsupervised learning algorithms such as Kmeans, Gaussian Mixture Models, Principal Component Analysis, Latent Dirichlet Allocation.
Experience with supervised learning algorithms such as Logistic regression, Support Vector
Machines, Naive Bayes, Decision Trees, Random Forest.
Experience with one of the following programming languages: Scala, Java, Python.
Preferred: worked with Spark/MLib/ML or similar frameworks for largescale data processing/machine learning.
Knowledge of one or more of the following fields is appreciated although not required: data streaming, anomaly detection, network analysis and natural language processing.
