We are working with an exceptional company based just outside Kings Lynn in search of a Finance Analyst.

A hugely reputable company with high levels of staff engagement, benefits and opportunities for personal progression.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Analyse actual results to forecast at month end and ensure the preparation and input of journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations to strict deadlines
• Hold monthly finance review meetings with Operational Managers, providing the most appropriate information and technical advice prior to these and follow up any actions subsequently
• Work with Operational managers to produce timely and realistic financial plans and forecasts which reflect recognised changes over the forecast time period. This could include some Forecast Modelling and Environmental Scanning
• Propose adjustments to current forecast and five-year forecast from information gathered at finance review meetings with Operational Managers to improve the accuracy of forecasts
• Provide, distribute and create timely and accurate reports as requested to assist the Cost Centre Managers. Advise managers so they can understand and interpret the reports using variance analysis, Key performance indicators (KPI's) and the implications of actions required resulting from changes to the forecast
• Work with managers to analyse the performance of existing products and services in order to inform future business planning. To include the most appropriate and accurate costing method in discussion with line manager
• Work with the Head of Business Performance to fully cost projects across the team, including usage of the Corporate Costing model or other appropriate method

To be successful in this role you will need to come from a highly analytical background and ideally be part way through an accounting qualification.
