Elevation Senior Finance are currently recruiting for a commercial and systems-focused Management Accountant for a highly reputable client based near Worksop.

The role's primary purpose will be to assist the Financial Controller and Commercial Finance Manager in providing accounting support to the business, as well as providing commercial finance support to Senior Management across the wider Group. A key part of this role will also be to work closely with the IT Team to develop the Group's finance and business systems.

Key duties and responsibilities:

* To provide commercial finance support to Senior Management including the development and production of financial and non-financial management information.
* Prepare KPI's performance analysis and reviews.
* Prepare budgets, forecasts and strategic business plans in conjunction with Senior Management.
* Prepare monthly management accounts for the Group businesses as appropriate - to include profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow.
* Maintain and control records within the management accounts, ensuring all appropriate reconciliations and necessary adjustments are completed.
* Completion and timely submission of VAT, Statutory and Government statistical returns.
* Develop and maintain the roadmap for utilisation and roll-out of the Group's Finance and Business Systems.
* Provide system administration and maintenance of the Group's Finance and Business Systems where appropriate.
* Completion and timely submission of VAT, Statutory and Government statistical returns.

The successful candidate will require the following:

* CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualification.
* Proven commercial acumen and ability to see the wider financial impact of business decision making.
* Strong IT skills, with a passion for system development and implementation.
* Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance personnel at a senior level.
* Ability to proactively assist in the continuous improvement of the organisation and its processes.
