Steve Lord is recruiting for a Business Data Analyst to work for a clinical laboratory services company. The Business/Data Analyst will be working at the site in Abergavenny on a permanent basis. This client is offering an opportunity to be involved during an exciting period of growth and expansion for the business where the use of data and reporting will be increasingly important to it's future success.

Overall function of the job:
The primary function of this role will be to provide business information reporting and data analysis for the organisation to enhance the overall reporting, and provide business intelligence on operational metrics to the business, as well as analysis and insights into existing data.

As a Business/Data Analyst you should have the following demonstrable experience:
-Experience of producing management information reports, based on operational metrics/data
-Strong experience of data analysis and report creation using Excel
-Experience of extracting and gathering data from a wide range of sources and systems for use in MI/BI reports.
-Experience of data visualisation tools such as Tableau and/or Crystal Reports would be beneficial
-Experience of manipulating large data sets in Excel.
-Knowledge of VBA, and SQL would be highly desirable.
-Previous experience of working in a similar role as either a data analyst/reporting analyst/MI analyst or BI analyst is essential.
