We are looking for an individual to join our ID Sales Department. The successful candidate must be pro-active and able to demonstrate strong leadership skills whilst working towards KPI’s. This is a permanent role and we will be looking for someone who can lead, drive and motivate a team of sales consultants whilst maintaining a fun and engaging environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage

  • Motivate staff at every stage of their work

  • Monitor staff and enable their pre-call and on-going research

  • Monitor staff and enable their outbound calls, both in quality and volume

  • Monitor staff and enable their post-call organisation of potential and client files

    • Ensure optimum levels of research, calling and systems organisation

  • Forecasting
    • Identify targets, motivate staff to attain targets, monitor target progress
    • Ensure that information supplied to the Head of Sales is accurate and adequately checked
  • Staff Training

    • Participate effectively in the induction programme, when required
    • Monitor the new Senior/Energy Sales Consultants through their probationary period of training and coaching
    • Deliver the 1-2-1 and appraisal process for all direct reports
    • Collaborate constructively when required, in all identified training
  • Personal Training

    • Participate positively in 1-2-1 meetings and the appraisal process
    • Participate in staff development and continuous improvement as relevant
  • Data
    • Ensure data sets, within the CRM, are worked and call notes properly added
    • Manage generated data in order to assist and enhance the efficient and effective performance of the company sales strategy
  • Quality
    • Ensure understanding and compliance of all QMS procedures
    • Monitor 'all customers are treated fairly’ (FSA)
    • Monitor and improve conversion levels of the team
    • Check all HR documentation relating to sales agents are updated and organised
    • Understand and actively promote all health and safety requirements
  • Recruitment
    • Address and refer staffing needs to Head of Sales
    • Be available to assist in the induction process of new sales

Qualifications / Skills / Experience

Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills

  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal

  • Creative and able to implement initiatives to improve sales techniques

  • Commercial approach when making decisions

  • Good problem solving and numerical skills

  • Able to work as a team and individually

  • Ability to be self-motivated

  • Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Experience of working within the SME Energy industry

    Successful candidates should ideally be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Working knowledge of the SME Energy industry

  • Experience of dealing with Business to Business sales

  • Knowledge of working with a CRM system

Salary: £25,000 (this role includes eligibility to the ID sales commission scheme)

Location: Liverpool
