Edward Mann are recruiting for a Global Public Relations Group based in Central London. Our client is looking to recruit a Billing Assistant into their fast-paced team.

This position encompasses a mix of billing, credit control, and sales ledger. Our client is looking for a candidate who can effectively manage timed based project billings for a large group of clients, whilst maintaining strong internal and external relationships.

ACCA or CIMA study support can be offered in this role.

· WIP management

o WIP billing

o Monthly review of costs and WIP reconciliation with the Management Accountant to ensure costs are either billed or written off in line with project budgets

o Monthly reviews and commentary of open job report

  • Credit control

o Preparing monthly debtor reports

o Managing the Group’s collections target

o Assisting the Group Financial Controller in preparing the monthly cash forecast

o Ensuring collection targets are met

o Preparing monthly working capital report

o Calculating debtor days

  • Sales Ledger

o Multi-currency invoicing

o Retainer, project, times based and recharge billing

o Ensuring compliance with customer specific invoicing protocols

o Allocating sales receipts in the accounting system to accurately reconcile payment from customers

Candidate requirements:

  • Strong Credit Control and/or billings experience
