Together Fundraising works in supporter acquisition specialising in work with organisations in the charity sector. We have 60 field based fundraising staff, who travel the country in teams of 3-5 working in shopping centres, train stations, airports and privately owned space. Our teams engage the public on behalf of our charity clients (CRUK, WWF, NSPCC and UNICEF), raising awareness on their behalf and raising funds by collecting direct debit donations. Our vision is to simultaneously expand our field of staff such that we can raise further funds for our charities, and to continue to strive to improve the services we provide to our clients.

  • Salary: £25,000 - 28,000 (dependent on experience)
  • Hours: 9am - 6pm Monday - Friday
  • Holiday: 28 days holiday per annum (including bank holidays)
  • Location: Clapham Common

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with third party IT and VOIP suppliers to:

o Support any day to day IT issues

o Setup new users and archive leavers

o Maintain and improve the stability and information security of our company systems and network

o Keep stock of all our IT equipment and purchase new equipment as required

  • Database Administration

o Input new staff records into company database

o Input field staff timesheets into company database

o Provide cover for Data Manager for data exports to clients

  • Company Reports:

o Run various daily, weekly and monthly company reports and send onto

  • Manage our field of iPads used by our field for electronic data capture
  • Manage relationship and content for various SaaS suppliers

Essential requirements

  • Degree in technical or business orientated/technical discipline - 2.i. or equivalent
  • Highly Proficient in all Microsoft applications - Outlook, Word, Excel, Access
  • Experience in automating tasks in MS Office applications by recording and writing macros using VBA
  • Experience in network administration
  • High level of experience in Microsoft Access - in particular ability to produce forms, reports, queries and automation through VBA
  • Proficient in using basic statistical methods to analyse data and gain useful insight
  • Highly IT literate and able to troubleshoot basic issues
  • Individual who takes a proactive approach to improvement and progression of the organisation and its systems and processes
  • Hard-working individual who is capable of working to deadlines, and prepared to work overtime if necessary to meet targets given.
  • Self-motivated individual who is capable of working efficiently and effectively on longer term projects.
