My Client a Global Leading Technology Business in the City of London is looking for a Finance Assistant to join their head office team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager the Finance Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Accurate and timely invoicing of customers and the posting of documents
  • Maintain strong contact with staff and provide invoice requests
  • Efficiently resolve any problems prior to raising and issue of invoice
  • Ensure the correct application and recording of VAT on invoices
  • Maintain accurate AR ledger records and reconciliation of accounts
  • Recommend improvements to the billing process
  • Minimise the use credit notes through process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with procedures
  • Implement and comply with our credit control policy
  • Maintain records to track debt collection through to conclusion
  • Coordinate activity to achieve payment in line with terms
  • Credit check customers as and when required
  • Prepare debtor reports and maintain awareness of debts
  • Identifying actions and responsibilities for collection of debt
  • Monitor and report on collection process
  • Carry out regular debt reviews with Finance Manager
  • Provide cash forecasting information based on billing & debt profile

Successful candidates will bright Part Qualified Accountants who have solid Accounts Assistant experience. Candidates must have experience in working within a fast paced working environment, with a minimum of 2 years Accounts Receivable and Credit Control experience. Navision experience is desirable.
