City-based mortgage broker firm is looking to recruit a suitably experienced Mortgage Administrator/Office Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be joining a team of 5 in our London based office. The role will be supporting two brokers in completing and submitting mortgage applications in an effective and compliant manner. Answer any customer queries in a courteous manner maintaining good relationships with our professional lenders and introducers. The successful candidate will also have Office Manager experience.

Salary = £28,000 with OTE £33,000.

1)Mortgage administrator

  • 5 years minimum years current experience
  • Experience must be with a mortgage brokerage or packager
  • Experience with residential, BTL, bridging, commercial applications
  • Numerically competent
  • Great eye and attention for detail
  • Supporting 2 residential brokers
  • Professionally dressed

Daily Duties:

  • Key new AIP’s/applications online as required

  • Make up paper files & add new cases to our customer relationship manager tool - ACT!

  • Provide cover for colleagues when they are absent

  • Ensure that all case files are fully compliant with all required documentation for completed cases

  • Chasing financial lenders for updates & processing cases through to completion

  • Invoicing clients

  • Liaising with accountants, lawyers and surveyors in a professional manner on behalf of clients.

2)Office Management

  • Highly Organised! organising colleagues, directors and loves paperwork!
  • Ideally the candidate will already be an office manager somewhere - either running a small office, team leader or working under someone who runs a large office

Daily Duties:

  • Commission receipt monitoring

  • Registering invoices

  • Produce company commission and payaway reports

  • Reconciliation of bank statements

  • Liaising with Directors

  • Providing management information upon request including cashflow and pipeline information

  • Invoicing

  • Preparing RMARs

  • Liaising with HMRC re: NI & tax, corporation tax etc

  • New staff background checks/contracting, managing HR in conjunction with the Director

  • Implementing data protection for the firm

Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm

20 days holiday plus bank holiday
