IN Recruitment are seeking a Sales Executive to join a small team in developing the conference & event sales business at this luxury Hotel in Cornwall. This includes all events, conferences, weddings, food and beverage offers and groups and tours business and to assist with the delivery of hotel revenue in conjunction with the General Manager & Marketing across all hotel areas.

Main responsibilities:

  • Generating revenue and new memberships through prospecting, networking and outreach campaigns.
  • Using a proactive approach to source new business, taking the initiative to find new clients, following up leads and referrals and looking to generate prospects and appointments within the local business community
  • Managing your performance through effective KPI’s and achieving new customer acquisition targets
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external individuals
  • Creating and managing promotions and sales initiatives, corporate events, weddings, themed parties, events, conferences and food and beverage offers
  • Maximising value for money for customers, and driving leisure member retention
  • Leading and inspiring a team of events, wedding and sales executives to achieve targets each and every month
  • Organising and setting up for exhibitions with your team to generate new business leads
  • Responsibility for the continuous maintenance of high customer service levels

You must be confident and assertive but able to communicate decisions diplomatically. You will also be self-motivated, able to see opportunities for sales development and improvement and take these forwards.
