Seymour John are working in partnership with a leading property management organisation to recruit a finance manager on a permanent basis. The role has arisen at a time of sustained growth for the business, it is an excellent chance to join and take the opportunity to lead a team during this exciting period for the organisation.
Reporting directly into a director of the business, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management of a team, taking the lead to ensure all day to day activities are monitored carefully in order to both produce and deliver financial reporting to various clients. The successful management of the team, is a key requirement. This will include one to ones, development and appraisals of every individual within your remit. In addition to this, you will also be required to report on team activities and ensure that both the individual and the team as a whole are being both efficient and effective as possible.
A proven track record in the improvement of processes and systems will be essential, as the continual improvement of the above will be a key requirement. There will be a business partnering element to this position, as you will often be required to liaise with clients and external stakeholders to identify requirements, whilst also managing their expectations. Furthermore, you will be asked to attend and drive meetings with clients to review key accounts.
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must be qualified with either ACA/ACCA/CIMA. The chosen candidate must have the confidence and the ability to deal with all levels of seniority, both internally and externally. This position carries a high level of responsibility, so you must be able to demonstrate accountability for all clients that sit within your remit.
