Credit Control Role in Newcastle £18,000 - £20,000pa based on experience

This award winning company is one of the UK's largest specialist within it's field. They are looking to recruit a full time permanent Credit Controller to join their busy Credit Control team. You will be based in Newcastle and be a part of a growing team where you will be responsible for the maintenance and the collection of the ledger.
Your new role
You will be responsible for the collection for a minimum of 1,500 accounts by telephone, email and letter. You will process Debit and Credit Card payments and instruct and follow up legal proceedings on any defaulted accounts. Other duties maybe requested by the Manager to ensure efficient running of the Department
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will have strong organisational and administrative skills and will have previously worked in a busy office environment managing a high volume workload. You will also need to be able to demonstrate high level of accuracy and attention to detail and have the ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. A strong team player who is self-motivated and uses their own initiative would be key for this role.
