You will be responsible for managing the operations support provision for this exciting brand on one of their most prestigious developments. You will receive a leading package including a basic salary of up to £31,000, discretionary bonus, matched pension, healthcare and life assurance. You will have access to leading training and development whilst working in an enviable environment.
You will be working 5 days on 3 days off on a rolling shift pattern working a mixture of shifts including 7am – 3pm & 3pm – 10pm and will form part of the leadership team leading the development and progression of the security & cleaning focussed employees on this site. You will be entitled to 22 days holiday which rises to 25 with service!
They have also taken away the worry about the rising cost of parking in Essex as free parking is provided saving you over £1500 per year!
The closing date for this role is Friday 16th June and interviews/assessment day for this role will be held in Grays week commencing 26th June.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Security Duty Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of up to 30 operations personnel in a fast paced, large retail environment. The focus of this role will be to deliver a safe and inviting environment to customers and company employees.
This is a role which includes client facing operational management of security services. You will be leading a team to ensure results are being delivered whilst providing excellent levels of customer service experience throughout the retail environment.
The role will also include the following duties:
- Liaising with internal departments such as health & safety.
- Departmental budget management.
- Liaising with professional bodies to ensure a safe environment.
- Reporting to the Facilities Services Manager with incident reports, weekly reports and KPI information.
- Carrying out compliance audits.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
To be successful in this role you should be able to demonstrate:
- Leadership experience of over 20 security/soft services personnel in a retail/hospitality customer focussed environment.
- Achievements in increasing team performance.
- Excellent customer service ethos.
- Knowledge of security processes & procedures.
- Training experience within a soft services/security team.
Candidates with the following qualifications are highly desirable;
- SIA Licence
- ILM NVQ or equivalent
If you are successful you will have to undertake a full DBS.
