Bookkeeper - XERO & HSBC net
The successful candidate will sit at the hub of the organisation, working closely with a small team of sales and creative professionals to ensure that all primary transactional processes are performed accurately and kept up to date.
The company is a recent start-up in the branded fragrance sector based in Central London.
Principle responsibilities are:-
Raising sales invoices, issuing customer statements, working with colleagues to ensure payment is made to terms, allocating cash receipts, resolving sales ledger queries
Coding and posting purchase invoices, matching to purchase orders, reconciling supplier statements to purchase ledger and resolving queries
Preparing monthly expense returns, ensuring receipts are obtained, posting the general ledger, arranging payment
Using bank portal to monitor cash position, raise payments with supporting documentation ready for authorisation
Liaising with customers and suppliers on all administrative matters
Experience in the following areas would also be advantageous:-
- Xero accounting software
- Preparation of VAT and Intrastat returns
- Double entry bookkeeping up to trial balance
