Our client, a leading Private Bank based in Central London is looking to hire an experienced Assistant Manager to work in their Corporate Operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordination for Issuance and subsequent management of trade products such as Letter of Credit, Bank Guarantee, LC discounting, Invoice discounting, LC negotiation, LC advising, Buyers Credit & Risk participation transactions.
• Preparation of process notes related to Trade products
• Managing SOAX, internal and external audit for trade transactions, account opening and remittances
• Speaking to customers on operational issues related to trade and corporate operations
• Handling customer queries, attending ad hoc requirement of trade customers, communication & coordination with counterparties/Agents (financial institutions) for smooth transaction
• Monitoring regulatory/legal issues related to trade products
• Monitoring of limit set-up, limit availability, KYC and AML guidelines
• Managing remittance for corporate customers
• Preparation of MIs and reporting related to these products
• To undertake projects and assignment from time to time as directed by Supervisor

Candidate Requirements:

• Professional Qualification (Preferably CDCS)
• Experience in UCP 600
• At least 1 year working in Trade Operations within the Financial Services industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
