Marketing Assistant - Consumer Events - Marketing Consultant is required to work alongside our Marketing Managers to deliver marketing activity to create awareness, excitement and buzz with the ultimate objective of selling tickets. With the support of the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of the campaign for each event - specifically working on large, well known and exciting Consumer Events and Festivals.

ROLE: Marketing Assistant - Consumer Events

LOCATION: West London

BASIC SALARY: £20k

ROLE:

-Day-to-day liaison with external agencies including media planning, printers, promotional partners and PR ensuring all campaign elements are delivered on schedule

-Writing design briefs and ensuring materials are created to the correct spec and delivered on time

-Set up and dispatch of e-newsletter campaign including monitoring effectiveness and implementing learnings to improve performance

-Day-to-day website updates

-Social media management - writing and scheduling content as well as monitoring and responding to queries

-Stay across new innovations in digital marketing including social media, online marketing & websites

-Raising purchase orders and working with the Marketing Manager to ensure marketing collateral is on budget

-Efficiently dealing with customer queries and liaising with the event box office where necessary

-Handling requests for and distributing complimentary tickets

-Collating the content for and overseeing the production and appropriate approvals of the event show guide

-Assisting the Marketing Manager with any other tasks as and when they arise

-Researching and negotiating third party promotions and ticket offers

-Ensuring all sponsor commitments are being honoured and fulfilled

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

·A flair for copy writing & creative, an eye for brand & creative

·Excellent attention to detail

·The ability and enthusiasm to stay across innovations in online

·Good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills

·Good with numbers and spreadsheets

•Proactive and able to work independently and demonstrate good time management

•Some experience in a marketing role preferable

•Team player

•An interest and knowledge of cars &/or motorsport essential

•An events background is preferable
