Do you have product experience and good personal destination knowledge of China, Japan and Southeast Asia? This leading UK specialist tour operator is looking for dynamic several product assistants to join their expanding London team.

Working closely with the China, Japan and Southeast Asia senior Product Manager, your job is to support all Product functions and drive the commercial effectiveness of the product range. Main Responsibilities:

*Support in the product development process with particular regard to commercial viability, meeting customer demand and anticipating operational implications.
*Coordinate and communicate all China, Japan and Southeast Asia itinerary alterations and other product changes to relevant parties within the business both in the UK and globally.
*Follow up with suppliers on customer complaints and feedback and support the Customer Relations team as required for China, Japan and Southeast Asia. Use this information as input to the China and Japan product development and improvement process as appropriate.
*Maintain product information and documents related to the China, Japan and Southeast Asia product range, this will involve the administration of planning sheets, final itineraries and tour dossiers.
*Liaise with relevant suppliers for specific requests made by the UK sales team.
*Be on hand to answer any queries for the Sales team as required.
*Provide full assistance with the production of all relevant client documentation, including reviewing copy, checking the accuracy and appropriateness of information, and liaising with the design team and proofing.
*Carry out weekly capacity reports for China, Japan and Southeast Asia and make recommendation to the Product Manager to maximise yield and profitability.
*Work with the China, Japan and Southeast Asia Product Manager to deliver training programmes to the reservations team and other parts of the business when required.
*Carry out regular analysis of relevant competitors' products and keep up-to-date with trends and activity within the company's market space.
*Work with internal departments on ad-hoc projects as required to ensure the accuracy of product information, including supporting the yearly brochure production process.
*Be positive and flexible to assist with other aspects of the product department when necessary.
*Research relevant product destinations where possible.
*Be positive in undertaking any reasonable duties relevant to the position to ensure the success of the department.
*Continually develop personal knowledge and expertise, be pro-active and work with autonomy.
*Actively collaborate with other departments on all elements of the product mix. Actively champion and promote the company and its products.

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

*Outstanding organisational skills, methodical, ability to prioritise
*Attention to detail, accuracy and systems orientated
*Proven writing skills, including ability to accurately proof and develop brochures and other customer literature
*Lateral thinking and problem solving ability
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*High energy, positive "can-do" spirit and strong team ethic
*Culturally astute with preferably a good knowledge of China and Japan
*Aptitude to learn various reservations systems
*Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines with flexible working hours
*Competency using Excel and other Microsoft Office Applications
