Quantity Surveyor x 2 Up to £55,000 plus package

Commercial Refurb & Interiors

Our client is a highly successful and progressive Interiors Main Contractor who are looking for 2 young Quantity Surveyors to work in London. This company has been established for many years and is one of the largest contractors specialising in complete interior solutions in the South East, with an annual turnover in excess of £40 million.

They specialise in the rebuilding and remodelling of existing properties for alternate use which includes the strip out, new build, refurb and fit-out to the shell and core. They currently have a number of complex projects up £5mwhic need additional commercial support. The company is looking for 2 Quantity Surveyors to work on these current projects in London.

Reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor your main role will be to assist the commercial function. Duties will include estimating, developing and reviewing target costs, forecast and cash flow analysis. Duties will include assisting in all aspects of the financial control of the project including valuations, measurements and cost reports, attending meetings and ensuring that adequate cost monitoring and management is undertaken. In addition you will also co-ordinate and agree the production of final accounts with various parties in order to ensure that project approvals and completions can be obtained at the required times.

Required Attributes and Experience

The ideal Quantity Surveyor will have a minimum of 3 years practical experience and will have a stable background and comprehensive experience gained within a suitable interiors / build. Quantity Surveyors with other construction related experience will also be considered if they show the right drive and determination to succeed within a technically challenging environment. You will have a focused attitude, and excellent communication skills and must be able to work as part of a team and possess a high level of motivation. Ideally you will also have an HND or equivalent qualification

The salary will be dependant on level of exposure to the industry and can go beyond the stated level above. Bonus and additional benefits also make up the package.
