Social Media and Digital Marketing Executive - SEO - Marketing is required for a major B2C events organiser. As social media executive, you will be responsible for managing all our event social media channels and campaigns to increase our reach, engage with fans and ultimately boost ticket sales. You will be required to research and analyse social media trends, including social media ad revenue and web visitor data, to improve social media presence and campaign efficacy. You will need to work with various departments to make sure messaging on brand, on message and accurate.

BASIC SALARY: £25k

ROLE:

As digital marketing executive, you will be responsible for ensuring our event websites are optimised to deliver strong brand personality, communicate key information to customers including ticket purchasers, exhibitors/sponsors and press and you will keep across website trends acting on them where possible. In addition you will be responsible for developing strong and innovative digital marketing strategies, using SEO, PPC, and other techniques to drive traffic to company pages and generate interest in company products and services. You will be required to create engaging written, graphic, and video content while staying up-to-date on the latest marketing technologies and social media.

Key functions

·Oversee all Events social media accounts assisting Marketing Managers to create social media strategies for each event

·Analyse social media campaigns using structured analysis to determine efficacy and areas for social media campaign improvement - implementing such improvements throughout the campaigns

·Work with the wider event teams to develop social media timelines coinciding with news, ad campaigns, or other brand messages

·Develop engaging, creative, innovative content for regularly scheduled posts, which enlighten audiences and promote brand-focused messages

·Monitor potential brand influencers to optimise engagement with them

·Monitor and report on competitor activity within social media spaces

·Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns

·Write and optimise content for the website and social networking accounts such as Facebook and Twitter

·Ensure best practise across all event websites

·Manage and maintain the organisation’s website(s)

·Track and analyse website traffic flow and provide regular internal reports

·Attain key performance indicators such as reducing the website bounce rate, increasing dwell time or improving conversion

·Continually work on the Search Engine Optimization of the website(s)

·Fix any errors or bugs in online content

·Edit and post videos to online sites

·Create online banner adverts and oversee pay per click (PPC) ad management

·Identify new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies and ensure the brand is at the forefront of industry developments, particularly developments in mobile marketing

Skills and attributes

·Extensive knowledge of social media platforms

·Strong copywriting skills

·Experience working with web and email editing software

·Strong knowledge of Final Cut Pro or similar programme

·Strong knowledge of Photoshop or similar programme

·Strong knowledge of search engine optimization

·Advanced Word, Powerpoint and Excel skills

·Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communicator

·Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines a must

·A true passion for and knowledge of the automotive industry and motoring in general
