Financial Systems Manager, London, Insurance

Financial Systems Manager required by a leading Lloyd's Market insurer located in London. The Financial Systems Manager will be responsible for overseeing the ongoing development of the financial management systems, with emphasis on the PeopleSoft General Ledger.

The Manager is responsible for developing and executing a financial system

development strategy for Corporate Finance, as well as for the ongoing management

of appropriate standards, procedures and internal controls for all Corporate Finance's

Information Systems.

Required experience

  • 3-5 years of prior management experience
  • 5+ years of finance experience/ operational knowledge of accounting processes
  • Lloyd's insurance knowledge is desirable
  • Qualified accountant is desirable
  • Past experience of working on projects and/or business analyst support
  • Technical experience desirable: SQL, MS Access and Visual Basic
  • Experience with financial accounting and reporting software (PeopleSoft, Data

Warehouse and Reporting Cube Tools)
