We are looking for a fantastic Marketing Communications Executive for a great publishing agency.

Responsible for managing the scheduling and creation of innovative, engaging and targeted email campaigns and high quality direct mail and sales support materials for their designated subject areas, you will liaise closely with the Marketing Managers to make sure all communications hit the right note.

You will also monitor and analyse campaign results and sales tool impact.

Key Responsibilities:
 Create and template vibrant and engaging content for innovative email and direct mail campaigns, sales tools and catalogues, working in close collaboration with the Books Marketing Managers
 Brief and launch targeted campaigns to drive sales, share content, raise brand awareness and generate leads
 Get to grips with designated subjects to be able to pick out the best content, style and tone for each campaign and become a veritable marcomms guru
 Lead on testing in campaigns and boldly try out new ways of doing things
 Keep on top of the marketing communications schedule for designated subjects
 Check all content and links are good to go before signing campaigns off
 Liaise with Books Marketing Managers and Campaign Analysts on the data lists for each campaign to make sure we're reaching the right people
 Analyse campaign results and proactively share with the Marcomms team and Books Marketing Managers, using findings to make recommendations for improvements, testing and best practice
 Manage promotional copy for books included in the monthly new titles email campaign
 Check, amend and approve monthly and seasonal Advanced Information Sheets for all new products in own subject areas
 Lead on the creation of own annual subject catalogues in close collaboration with Books Marketing Managers and the Design and Editorial teams, keeping to schedule and budget
 Manage the creation and promotion of own online subject catalogues, ensuring optimization of interactive features and integration with the website
 Co-ordinate the production of product information packs to support sales calling for designated subject areas
 Liaise with subject Marketing Managers and the Design and Manufacturing teams on the production of marketing materials as and when required
 Get involved with other marketing activities as required to support the goals of the Marketing Department.

Key Requirements:
 Educated to degree level or equivalent
 Experience in marketing, communications, advertising, PR, media or a related field
 A confident and influential communicator who enjoys working collaboratively on projects and delights in contributing to team discussions
 A formidable planner, highly skilled in project management, scheduling, managing multiple projects, problem-solving and working under pressure
 Strong creative flair and an innovative approach to communicating information visually
 The skill to read, analyse and interpret results, concepts, documents, diagrams and trends and proactively share results and ideas
 Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel.
 Experience of writing and copy editing marketing materials
 Experience of proofreading
 Design experience and experience of working with designers, Adobe InDesign, Dreamweaver and Adobe Pro DC.
