Sales Director - Truck - HGV
Truck Sales Director - HGV - Regional Sales Director - UK Sales Director is required for a major Truck manufacturer to deploy the commercial strategy for the Trucks brand in all dealers of their market or Region. Deliver New Truck, LCV & Transport Solutions volume, turnover and GP in line with market company ambition through all sales channels(Network and Regional Key Accounts).
ROLE: Regional Truck Sales Director
LOCATION: To cover UK wide so based in any location - Extensive travel required.
BASIC SALARY: £75k to £80k

·Drive the Regional Business Managers to reach new vehicle & Transport Solutions (Maintenance contract, fuel solutions) volume, turnover and margin targets
·Implement and ensure the deployment of the marketing strategy of new vehicles & transport solutions
·Negotiate and agree sales targets with each dealer (final decision at Commercial Director level)
Define & Implement action plans (including commercial actions) with dealers linked to new trucks & transport solutions business (incl. incentives & discounts).
The role is to help and support the dealer network to sell the new trucks and aftermarket offerings, to manage and set budgets, P&L responsibility as well. Driving the profitability of the Truck Brand through the dealerships, working with dealer partners who own the dealerships, mainly privately owned dealerships. Must have truck sector experience, strong business growth and business acumen skills and experience, selling through dealers, improving the dealer network sales pipeline, help and guidance.
Take responsibility for a defined list of Regional Fleet customers in their geographical area. Sell the total offer in line with sales strategy and market commercial policy. Working closely with local dealer and the respective Regional Dealer Sales Manager.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Must have truck sector experience, strong business growth and business acumen skills and experience, selling through dealers, improving the dealer network sales pipeline, help and guidance. Must be a strong willed and determined, driven director. Proven leadership skills, must have managed a high performing team. Driving forward margin and volume of sales, strong attention to detail, tenacious, pragmatic and fair management style as well. could be from outside the Truck or LCG sector but would have to have everything we require, can be from machine tools, agriculture machinery sectors etc
