Development & Support Team Leader
OneFamily are looking for a driven and motivated Development & Support Team Leader to join our central Brighton office. This person will provide seamless support to the Sales and Service Manager in the development and execution of the sales strategy.
Purpose of Role:
- To ensure our service proposition is aligned to the sales and new business objectives offering seamless support to our intermediary partners.
- Effectively manage the department’s telephone intermediary team and their performance to ensure delivery against strategic objectives, quality measures and agreed sales plan targets.
- Leading a team responsible for pre and post-sale administration of policies sold through the Intermediary Financial Advisors on our increasing range of financial products. Ensuring the teams represent the company in an extremely positive light building relationships with advisers from registration onwards.
- Provide support to the Sales and Service Manager in the development and execution of the sales strategy.
Skills, knowledge & experience:
Drive quality and revenue targets across products and services in line with business objectives for the intermediary telephone account team
Ensure Intermediaries are supported in doing business with OneFamily with correct and timely information being given
Lead, motivate and coach the intermediary telephone account team through effective performance and activity management to ensure strong team and sales performance in line with agreed targets
Track and communicate sales and service performance through accurate and timely forecasting and reporting, ensuring sales and service maximise potential opportunities.
Ensure on-going development of team including recruitment, training and performance assessment. Champion and develop the intermediary telephone account team by keeping up with industry best practice
Promote a passionate, outside-in, forward learning culture throughout the team to achieve a high performance team environment
Keep team highly motivated by implementing new outbound campaigns that add value to the department
Provide MI to demonstrate sales and operator performance and ad hoc reports as requested
Ensure integrity of telephony systems and reports; implement formal check mechanism to provide project representation for projects that are wholly and specifically for this job role
Undertake the company 'performance’ process ensuring it is kept up to date
Deputise for the Sales and Service Manager as appropriate.
