Retail Store Manager
Our client, a large international children's charity, are seeking an experienced Retail Channel Manager to join their operation and assume overall accountability for the Retail Channel in a Fundraising operation.
The Manager will take responsibility for the overall management of the stores daily operations, ensuring a consistent, efficient and professional delivery of service; playing a pivotal role in driving the success of the current high performing team.
Based in the store, you will lead from the front, motivating, training and managing the team to excel in their own performance; creating a high performing team environment where staff are inspired to give the best experience, exceed expected KPI's and grow in line with their ethos and identity.
You will closely manage all paperwork and financial records accurately, closely monitor stock levels, raise stock orders and rectify stock issues following retailer guidelines; whilst continually growing your own product knowledge and understanding of the charity's work to inspire your team and customers.
For this post, you will have experience in leading and managing a Retail site within a Mall environment, ideally focusing on raising funds for a charity or experience within a customer focused sales operation. You will also have staff management experience; including recruiting, coaching, training, retaining staff by developing and motivating people to achieve set objectives. You’ll also have the ability to give clear instructions, make difficult decisions, as well as the ability to develop and manage budgets, multi-task and solve problems.
Demonstrable knowledge of best adhered Retail practices with a knowledge of marketing and communications techniques and channels is also essential, as are strong organisational, budget management and communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.
