£35,000 - £42,000 (Dependent on Experience)
Accountancy Practice Specialists Clark Wood have a unique opportunity with an independent firm in Maidstone for an ACA or ACCA Qualified Accountant with strong technical expertise and a passion for training junior staff.
The main duties of this role is to act as mentor to a small team at various stages of ACCA qualification from graduate entry to recently qualified and reviewing their work.
The role will also involve managing your own small portfolio of clients so strong communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships is essential.
The successful individual will need to hold or is able to obtain a Chartered or Chartered Certified practicing certificate (this will be subsidised).

Managing a portfolio of clients
Review of work done by junior staff
Training, managing and mentoring junior staff
Preparation and review of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Preparation and review of monthly and quarterly management accounts
Preparation and review of VAT returns
Preparation and review of Corporation Tax computations
Dealing with clients ad hoc queries
Excellent client interaction skills
Ideally 10 years' experience in practice
Experience of working in practice is essential
