I am currently working in partnership with a global giant based in North Birmingham who are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their Shared Service Centre until the end of February 2018.
You will be responsible for maintaining and reconciling GL accounts, as well as preparing, recording and analysing GL transactions. You will be directly involved in developing company best practices as well as ensuring current controls are adhered to. You will analyse bad debt reports and investigate bill runs in order to detect fraud.
You must have prior finance experience ideally within an international organisation. You will be competent in carrying out complex reconciliations, posting customer payments, billing customers, producing reports and presenting findings back to management. You will have an analytical mind with the ability to focus on the smaller details in order to ensure nothing is missed.
