As Head of Media for a Charity in London you will be responsible for managing a small team and developing the media strategy to raise the profile of the organisation.

  • Ensuring the PR and media strategy is in line with the Charity's overall objectives
  • Managing a small team
  • Developing PR strategies to promote the research the Charity does
  • Managing PR and communications around government lobbying
  • Advising the Senior Management Team on PR and media issues
  • Building relationships with key journalists
  • Ensuring there is a roster of spokespeople and preparing them for media interviews


As Head of Media it is essential that you have been involved at a strategic level and are comfortable providing advice to the Senior Management Team and leading the team.

This role requires someone who is happy to be hands in and may be involved with speaking to Journalists and writing press releases.

A background in Journalism and experience in the not for profit sector is ideal
