Events Sales Manager - Festival Sales Manager - Sponsorship Sales - Events sales Manager is required a market leading London based events company who are passionate about delivering great days out to the public. Reporting to the Show Directors, you will be responsible for selling stands and sponsorship for the two events to both previous and new business. In addition you will create bespoke opportunities for brands to invest. You will also come up with new revenue generating ideas and opportunities that will grow both the sales revenue and in conjunction with the marketing team, ticket revenue.

ROLE: B2C Events Sales Manager


BASIC SALARY: £35k to £40k plus bonus


  • To identify and close new business opportunities
  • To source new leads for the event to create, build and maintain sales database
  • To achieve (and where possible exceed) 100% of team revenue targets
  • To achieve (and where possible exceed) 100% of personal revenue targets
  • To successfully manage the development of your sales team members
  • Use initiative to help develop revenue potential
  • To fully understand and absorb the features and benefits of all the company’s products and services and be able to present them
  • To provide assistance in developing sales and sponsorship packages
  • Produce daily/weekly/monthly reports on progress
  • To spend effective time on the phone, generating new business prospects by cold calling and developing relationships with existing accounts
  • To successfully organise and attend all relevant industry show opportunities both in the UK and abroad
  • To maximise all potential revenue growth by delivering revenue via non stand related sales (sponsorship)
  • To assist with tasks such as managing the floor plan, contracts, the database, sales mailings, sales letters, bespoke proposals, sales reports, activity reports, features, and input into the strategy and content of the show


  • A minimum 3 years’ experience of exhibition and events sales
  • A strong background of sales team management
  • Confident on the phone
  • Experience in face to face meetings and presentations at management/board level
  • Initiative - proactive and able to work independently
  • Self-sufficient, self-motivated, resilient, determined, assertive, good objection handler, capable of working under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Strong planning, organisation and time management skills
  • Assertive team player capable of dealing and working with strong personalities
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communicator, authoritative and credible diplomat/ambassador
  • Resilient and determined; problem solver and decision-maker
  • New business generation, accounts sales and account management experience
  • Salesforce proficiency desirable
  • An all-rounder, able to transfer seamlessly from major account handling one minute to cold calling smaller clients the next
