Digital/Graphic Designer

An exciting well-being company are looking to strengthen their creative team by appointing a Digital/Graphic Designer. Working alongside their Head of Creative to guarantee consistency of design and brand standards. This exciting opportunity includes assisting with projects including conceptualisation, design, creation, and production of marketing materials including product packaging, brochures, catalogues, product and lifestyle photography, promotional videos, company websites, social media assets, print and web advertising, and PowerPoint presentations.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Work with Head of Creative to support marketing objectives, discuss creative direction, and ensure brand consistency
  • Create print-ready packaging artwork using established templates, adding design input where needed as required, plus typesetting languages
  • Creation and typesetting of product instruction manual artwork based on existing templates including in-use images and diagrams
  • Contribute to product and lifestyle photography including retouching
  • Create and update product support assets including catalogues, print and digital advertising, social media assets and point-of-sale
  • Creation of infographics and animation to support presentations
  • Contribute to creative design and maintenance of company websites
  • Develop look and feel for assets that effectively communicates our ideas, brand and values
  • Assist in video production including concept, asset creation, and editing

Desired skills

  • Proven experience working in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Premiere, After Effects and 3D software desirable, but not essential
  • Photography and retouching skills
  • Excellent portfolio showing range of styles and formats
  • Knowledge of current design trends and practices for print and digital
  • Knowledge of website development using HTML and CSS. Previous experience with Magento or similar CMS platforms would be advantageous
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments from a variety of departments and team members
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Attention to detail and creative problem solving skills
