Our client has a unique opportunity for a dynamic and creative-minded individual to fill a position of Senior Supplier Manager within the Supplier Engagement department.

Within the Supplier Engagement department sits the Onboarding team, whose role is to engage and attract suppliers to work with their clients via their technology platform. The success of projects is very much dependent on creating an engaged supply base of suppliers who can deliver the goods or services that our clients require. The Onboarding team are an integral part of the project team for the implementation of our solution for each client.

Reporting directly to the Senior Supplier Manager, the successful candidate will play an instrumental role in forming and delivering our engagement plans and the wider project delivery.

The Role

Responsibilities:
• Working with the Head of Supplier Engagement to create and deliver strategies to engage suppliers
• Presenting strategies, action plans and results to our customers
• Creating innovative collateral and marketing material
• Pro-actively engaging with suppliers through face to face meetings, calls, email and post
• Hosting and running events, briefings, training sessions and demonstrations of our technology to suppliers
• Meeting with and presenting to potential and existing suppliers Responsible for building a supplier pipeline as per the project brief
• Supporting Supplier Managers in the delivery of projects and on-going supplier engagement
• Developing a full and detailed understanding of the supplier markets in which we work
• Recognising and designing new engagement methods
• Analysing progress and success of engagement efforts

• Willingness to travel across UK when required (note that the role is based in Milton Keynes)

The Qualifications

• Degree educated, second class honours or above

The Salary

• We offer an excellent starting salary of £35,000 per annum plus a car allowance
