The successful applicant will be working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday with a competitive salary of £30,000 per annum, plus a company mobile telephone, an iPad and a company pension scheme.

Aims of the post include the provision of a wide range of general facilities services to the client, compliance with site health and safety procedures and current legislation and to complete conversance with company procedures and organisation.

Duties will include:

* Escorting of contractors on site, ensuring client enquiries are promptly processed and responded to,
* Keeping the Property Services Manager informed of the progress on site, notifying of any delays or difficulties encountered.
* Ensuring no work is carried out without risks assessment method statement and work permit (where necessary) in place,
* Liaison with other departments as required, attending departmental meetings including discussion of all ongoing and scheduled jobs and client enquiries, reviewing reports and action lists,
* Ensuring timesheets are accurately completed and submitted on time,
* Ensuring the client(s) and business are always presented in a positive manner,
* Keeping the work area clean, tidy and well organized,
* Occasional tasks at the discretion of the client and any additional ad-hoc duties as required,
* Understanding and implementing the client's and organisation, services, standard procedures and policies,
* Taking part in training and meetings as required and, keeping them informed of all developments, being the focal contact point for maintenance queries on site.

Essential requirements for this role are proven maintenance experience and knowledge of building maintenance issues with overall skills and experience of managing mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, plumbing, carpentry, painting and decorating, air conditioning and compliance. Applicants should have a professional attitude, a quick learner, able to interpret information.
