Sales Executive (Sponsorship,Delegate, Event Sales)

£18-25k DOE Plus High OTE (1st 35-50K )

We have a number of Business to Business Conferences, Exhibition Event Organisations who are seeking Delegate Sales & Sponsorship Sales Executives.

Essentially, these are Inside Sales role(s) that will offer attendance at the Events acting as account managers & client relations on the day of the event, but fundamentally this is a new business role with some account responsibilities.

Key Parts of the Role:

To effectively sell to senior decision makers on the phone/ by email and close them in the shortest time possible.
• To display a high level of ability in objection handling and negotiation.
• Meeting and exceeding event budgets and targets.
• Market research to identify new leads - hunter style approach to source new business.
• Liaise with production, marketing, sales and event management as well as externally with clients to deliver a consistent message for each event.
• Attend and contribute to weekly sector meetings and event handover meetings.
• Inside sales
• Confident communicator both over the phone and in writing
• Strong sales approach including negotiating, handling objections and closing a deal.
• The ability to resolve problems and disputes with clients and arrive at decisions which allow the business to move forward
• Experience in the use of databases in both mass and targeted sales campaigns
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
• Account management/account planning
• Solid research skills
• Excellent command of written and spoken (business) English
• Highly motivated and proactive with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation

Experience Required
• 1-2 years of B2B sales experience (preferably with a solid track record of work rate and achieving/exceeding targets.
• An experience of selling to C-Level audiences.
• The ability to cross-sell and up-sell to clients.
• Confident, hardworking orientated
• Target driven and personable
