A Outstanding all through Academy based in the Enfield area are currently looking for a EYFS/KS1 Teacher to start on a permanent basis in September. With five year groups from nursery to year 3.

The academy is identified by its high expectations of, and belief in, all our pupils and these are encompassed in our six pillars. We teach a curriculum that enables all children to make rapid academic progress across a range of subject areas but with an emphasis on reading, writing and numeracy.      This position can also include TLR for the right candidate which would be as a leader

You will be required to complete the following:

Deliver the EYFS and National Curriculum as relevant to the age and ability group that you teach
• Deliver high quality lessons including  English, Maths, Science and RE – the four core subjects in our school
• Be responsible for the preparation and development of teaching materials, teaching programmes and pastoral arrangements as appropriate
• Have a clear understanding of the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND G+T, EAL and be able to use and evaluate distinctive teaching approaches to engage and support them
• Demonstrate an understanding of, and take responsibility for, promoting high standards of literacy including the correct use of spoken English throughout the curriculum and the school day
• Deliver the National Curriculum 2014 and school curriculum as relevant to the age and ability group that you teach

• Work proactively and effectively in collaboration and partnership with learners, parents/carers, governors, other staff and external agencies in the best interests of pupils
• Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school

The ideal candidate will have / be:

* Qualified Teacher Status

* Experience teaching key stage two

* Experience teaching year five

* Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum

* Good behaviour management skills
