iRecruit Specialist are working with a global client in Bracknell looking to recruit for a Head of Ongoing Technology Solutions based on a 12 month FTC. You will need to have strong people leadership skills with vast experience from within the technology space managing complex client solutions.

The ideal candidate will be someone who will be able to implement consistency and rigour across a variety of customer high-end data warehouse solutions delivered through a proprietary Business Insights Solution and Microsoft SQL Server as well as other technologies. Often these solutions involve integrating disparate data of varying complexities using various technical methodologies. As such, a strong problem-solving mind set is essential.

In addition, clear and robust documentation must exist across each solution to ensure the effective on-going management through first, second and third lines of Technical Support.

Key responsibilities:

• Proactive management of all ongoing Technology solutions in accordance to Client SLAs
• Capture and record relevant metrics for each solution, providing timely service reviews to both Client and internal stakeholders
• Create and version control all relevant documentation for each solution e.g. SLAs, Technical documentation
• Proactively respond to change requests, managing stakeholder expectations and ultimate implementation of change requests. As well as proactively manage and respond to Client queries, conducting full RCA where appropriate and implementing relevant solution enhancements
• Manage onshore and offshore teams, maximizing the utilization of department resources across ongoing solutions, ensuring regular score card reviews with the Off-Shore Team are actioned effectively
• Address any Key Man Dependencies (KMDs) ensuring all solutions are robustly managed and implement on-going actions to prevent KMDs from being created
• To be highly visible and engaged with all relevant key contacts & stakeholders
• Maintain a strong knowledge of all solutions provided to Clients
• Lead, champion, support and motivate your team ensuring career and performance development plans are in place and maintained
• To contribute to the department strategy, planning and budgeting process.
• To support Client pitches, as appropriate, to champion the value and expertise that our client brings to the successful management of ongoing technology Solutions
• To perform other duties and responsibilities to support the department as assigned

Skills and Experience required for the role:

• Proven experience managing the ongoing provision of complex, $MM Technology solutions to major Clients - ideally within experience in FMCG/Retail space
• Wealth of experience in team management, managing and mentoring teams of 5+ people of junior to mid-level professionals
• Project Management qualification and/or 6 sigma qualifications or ITIL is a bonus
• Highly numerate and detail conscious
• Strong leadership and people development skills
• Proven negotiation and influencing skills
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• A proven ability to operate confidently at senior levels
• Ability to design and scope detailed data analysis
• Team focussed, with ability to work across virtual and off shore teams
• Ability to work using own initiative
• Be able to plan and organise workload to meet internal and client deadlines and commitments.
• Recognise and proactively communicate potential issues, taking ownership for resolution and/or escalating as appropriate
• Ability to work effectively under pressure

This is a high pressured role but will be significantly rewarding for the right individual
