As an Automotive Test Engineer, you will test the functional and KPI requirements of Continental’s software and algorithm components. 

Working closely with the Test Teams in Lewes and Bangalore, you will maintain existing tests and carry out tests on a variety of hardware and software platforms. 

Specifically, you will:

- Review testability requirements and determine test methods 
- Analyse results and failure patterns to produce reports 
- Take ownership of any test, data or development-tool related issues 
- Create and maintain test documents 
- Write, update and review test cases and specifications 

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need:

- Experience of testing embedded platforms and an understanding of test techniques and processes 
- Previous experience of using specialist automotive development and test tools 
- Experience gained within a high process maturity environment 
- A track record of working in an Agile software development environment 
- Exposure to the development and test of machine vision (however, radar or other complex senor systems will also be considered) 
- Strong Python, C or C++ programming skills 
- German language skills, in addition to English 
- A degree (or equivalent) in a quantitative scientific or engineering discipline such as maths, computer science, or a natural science 

Analytical and determined, as an Automotive Test Engineer, you will have great English communication skills, both written and verbal. The ability to think outside the box is also key, as is a highly collaborative approach.
