Fire & Security Project Manager
Project Manager / £35-45k / Maidstone
A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a business minded Project Manager within the Fire and Security industry to join my client, based in Maidstone.
This role involves managing large projects, valued at £100k - £1m. You will be full accountable for the project from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery of outcomes. This is a senior position with a high level of responsibility to ensure that you and your team are on track!
Key duties include:
- Initiating and checking feasibility and working out budgets, teams and resources
- Planning - setting goals, defining roles and producing schedules of tasks
- Executing and managing the project
- Monitoring and controlling the project
- Budget management
- Evaluating post job close; continuous improvement
To be considered for this role, you must have relevant experience and technical knowledge of fire and security systems, as well as a good understanding of managing projects - it is essential that you have managed commercial projects previously. You will have a good head for figures, be business minded and able to build effective relationships across the board. You will be extremely organised with great interpersonal skills and be hungry and driven, with ambition to progress your career long term. Obviously this role will involve travel, including the need to stay away at projects from time to time; predominantly the work will be in London, but there may be a need to manage sites further afield from time to time.
