Lead Playworker – London - £10,400pa – Part time and Permanent

Are you an experienced Lead Playworker or Early Years Practitioner? Do you have experience in a Lead or Senior role? Do you have experience coordinating an After-School Club or Play Scheme setting? Do you have knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage?

Various Lead Playworker roles have become available with a Wraparound Care Service for a variety of After-School Clubs in London.

The ideal candidate will work from a Primary School with children aged 4-11 years in groups of 15-20 children (alongside the other playworkers). The working hours will be Approx. 2:45pm-6pm, Monday-Friday - 20 hours per week.

The Lead Playworker will oversee and Coordinate the After-School Club Programme.

Essential Requirements
• Experience in a management position within the Childcare Sector
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
• Experience with the administration / coordination of an After-School Club Programme
• To hold an up to date DBS

Desirable Requirements
• Professional childcare qualifications (NVQ Level 3)
• Certifications such as First Aid and Food Hygiene
• Safeguarding knowledge / experience / certification
• Experience with skills such as sports, music, drama or arts
