Electrical Maintenance Engineer required

Overview:

With manufacturing facilities located across the UK, we now require a Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the team.

This is a varied engineering environment, light automated robotics and conveyors, going up to large medium to heavy engineering applications and equipment.

Salary: Basic earnings of £40,000 inclusive of weekends (working 1 in 4 6am-2pm Sat and Sun) + Overtime = £45,000 and upwards

Shift: 6-2 2-10 10-6 working 1 in 4 weekends 6am-2pm paid at 1.5 and double

Overtime Rates: Mon-Sat time and ½ and Sundays Double

Hours: 39hr working week, anything over 39hrs paid at 1.5 Mon-Sat and Sun = Double

Location: Must be commutable to Burton On Trent

Benefits: pension up to 4% and upwards matched, 34 days holiday, Xmas shut down, health and safety bonus, free onsite parking, PPE provided, tool allowance.

Background required: Previous experience working in a manufacturing/production or industrial environment. Electrically qualified with knowledge of safety circuits, Invertors, how relays operate, speed control systems etc.

Essential Skills required:

*Apprentice trained

*A strong background within a electrical maintenance role within a manufacturing/industrial environment.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer:

*To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.

*Provide technical electrical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns

*PPM's

The ideal Electrical Maintenance Engineer will have as many of the following in order to strengthen application:

Time served apprenticeship
17th edition electrically qualified
PLC experience for Fault Finding beneficial
Familiar with AC/DC drives and invertors - beneficial
Previous experience working in a automated manufacturing environment
Educated in a relevant engineering discipline - City and Guilds/NVQ level 3/HNC/HND etc
