THE IDEAL CANDIDATEThis Reliability Engineer position presents the ideal opportunity for you to add real value to the business by improving performance and saving money using an “engineered” solution. You’ll put your engineering know how to good use to develop the optimum maintenance and overhaul regime. Roles of this nature don’t come around too often so don’t miss out!ABOUT THE JOBAs a Reliability Engineer you will develop the maintenance, repair and overhaul regime necessary to improve lifecycle costs and the availability of rolling stock components using the RAMS principals (reliability, availability, maintainability and safety). You’ll develop and implement the VMIs’ as well as supporting engineering projects from an optimisation perspective. Further responsibility extends to the monitoring of component scrap with recommendations for re-engineering or repair processes. This is an incredibly important role for the business that will add tremendous value to the performance and cost of the maintenance activities undertaken by the depot operations teams.THE REQUIREMENTSYou’re the Reliability Engineer I am looking for if you can demonstrate proven experience in reliability centred maintenance (RCM) supported by an engineering qualification. Rolling Stock experience is preferred although if you are from Aerospace or Automotive I want to hear from you!THE SALARY
£54K + up to 25% Bonus + Pension + Healthcare + 25 Days Holiday + BH
