The role

Reporting to the director of Communications, the Internal Communications Manager is responsible for managing effective internal communications to ensure colleagues are engaged with our strategy and understand their contribution to its delivery. This role is central to the achievement of our aims and creating a new organisational culture based on shared understanding of our values, direction and commitment to organisational change. Works closely with the Executive Office, Communications, HR and senior management teams, in particular, to ensure consistency of internal and external messages.

What we are looking for

  • Clear understanding of employee engagement and the role of internal communications in supporting change and achievement of business objectives
  • Proven experience and knowledge of internal communications, in a service, commercial or consulting environment
  • Knowledge of modern internal communications good practice and methods
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective internal communications
